This bit may clear up the Gnome anomaly: <quote> This is a known bug. You must go directly to Gnome from the dm. </quote> The bug, if it is the same one as we have seen, has been fixed, and is coming. <quote> It will be in updates as soon as 10.1 OE is out. </quote> The only thing is, having read the thread, I'm still not absolutely sure that it's the same bug.
