In Konqi, the "Save As" option only saves the basic .html file and not the
images or any other linked content. Instead the option you want to use is on
the "Tools" menu where there is an option to "Archive Webpage", which gzips
the html file and all images into a single .war file, which you can then
later open in Konqi. You need to have the kdeaddons package installed for
this option to appear in Tools, and to create the file association.

I have a few "issues" with the way konqi does this, it's not exactly intuitive
for new users, and because the package isn't installed by default then many
people don't know it exists. IMHO, the "Save As" option should have the
choice of raw html or web archive, and it should install by default.

Then there's the problem that the .war file doesn't seem to be very portable
between platforms, so maybe printing to file/ps/pdf as others have suggested
would be better if you want to share it around.

If you do find yourself wanting to unarchive a .war, the format is really just
a renamed .tar.gzip file, so try opening it with ark (which will ask you what
the format is), from the command line, or on the dark side with winzip.
