I had the same problem with my Inspiron 510m while I had mdk 10.0 OE running. After upgrading to mdk 10.1 CE the laptop shuts and powers down automatically. Only thing which I didn't get working is the wlan but I hope this is solved after upgrading to 10.1 OE. Another thing I noticed with my inspiron is the power consumption... after 'bout 2 hours I am down and have to find a power connection. Anyone with a similar problem? Alex
