In the field in kppp marked execute upon command, I entered: route add default ppp0. I don't think that the dynamic IP address is an issue, because if I ask for details on the connection (while connected), kppp has the local address (netmask) and the remote address (IP). I can ping both of those locations, but I can't ping the DNS. I have looked through the logs (something Ive not done before), and here is what it shows for a connection.
