[newbie] emacs configuration

Hi, all   I'm beginning with the emacs editor. I installed its X version and I want to learn how configure it ( fonts, background, colors, etc ). I'm a really newbie to emacs.   Anyone can help me ?   Thanks   Pablo Monti Buenos Aires, Argentina
