Not sure about the HOWTOs, as I don't have them installed on this box,
but most of the documentation is in /usr/share/doc now, instead of

need to be mounted like other drives (ie when using a thumb drive)
Most USB devices are Plug and Play. Hotplug takes care of most of that.
Thumb drives normally get mounted on /mnt/removable, /mnt/removable2,
etc. On 9.2, a second thumb drive get mounted in the next "slot", even
if you have removed the first one. (Unlike Windows, were it will get
the first free drive letter.)
Not so dumb question 3. Can anyone point me to a FAQ on setting up an a
USB ADSL modem? Kconfigure only allows for ehternet connected dls modems...
