The floppy was formatted with floppy formatter and kfloppy with an ext2 file
system and checked for bad sectors - none. I can open the disk with Konqueror
and the floppy icon on desktop. When I try to copy any files this is the
message I get :
"could not make folder /mnt/floppy/2.4.22-10mdk"
If I navigate to /mnt/floppy and look at the properties the permissions tab
has the three boxes "owner, Group, Others" greyed out. On the advanced button
it shows permissions for all groups to show entries, write entries and enter
with x'es in the boxes. The disk is a 144Hd Floppy and I am trying to copy
about 700KB, so plenty of room on the floppy.
