Every term you open is considered a 'login'. That's why you see '7 users'
when you have 7 terms open, even though only you are logged in. Or is it '8
users'? Whatever. You get the idea.

It depends on the "term" program, and how it is started. The default start of xterm is not a login. But there is a command line option to make it one. I am not sure about other "term"s.
