I have experienced the same thing with the Windows version of SC, but perhaps an upgrade to 1.0.1 might do the trick....I can't remember experiencing it in Linux, you could also post a message to the Sylpheed Claws mailinglist (I do not have the adress though at the top of my head) /ANders
