I currently have a server operating on Higher level security and ssh works just fine. The thing to remember is that hosts.deny will always be updated each night to deny all. You must make the change in hosts.allow, to explicitly allow whatever connections you want to allow. The hosts.allow file takes precedence over the hosts.deny. -- Bryan Phinney
