Thanks for that link - hadn't seen it and will read. Not doing anything with scanner and camera at present. Want to familiarise myself with Mandrake better, first. Trying to work my way through the programmes. Printed a photo from a CD in Gimp today and very pleased with the result. Will post later about them. Thanks anyway Rosemary
