Another thing i'm getting is some sort of a warning msg on boot ,cant read all of it but i GUESS it says
Warning : CUPS may not work properly.Couldnt mount loopback device to routing table!?

Just to start things off ~ within a new browser window type " localhost:631 " ( without the quotes ) and have a play in there. You usually sign in as " root " and you need the admin password to be able to configure things properly.
