  | I have yet to have Linux break on me, or hang even.
  | Being an experienced Winbloze troubleshooter makes me

  | P.S. Is there an ls command that will allow the

  | I can read them?

This'll seem familiar to you if you know DOS. Use

        ls [options] | More

The [options] is a place holder for any command line arguments you wish to use
with ls.
