[newbie] video

i recently loaded mandrake 6.0 and i can't get it to recognize my video
card.

i have a SiS 530 (brand new compaq desktop) and its not on the list.

i chose to configure manualy with the settings for my monitor but xwindows
boots up 5 times the normal size.

any suggestions from anyone?
