Is there something else I can use (maybe a gateway?) that would let me do the same thing I'm doing now. Even an open firewall would be ok, but I can't find any documentation on firewalling that doesn't require a PhD. I mean I know what I'm doing with Linux (mostly), and I know the hell out of windows and out, and I still feel dumb sometimes when reading some of the HOWTO's. Am I the only one that feels this way or is this a common thing? > Hmm...well, then, I guess it's beyond my level....one other thing you > might check (silly, but it's worth a try): in /etc/inetd.conf, do you > have telnet commented out?
