ok  use a boot disk from DOS 
or boot into 
DOS mode of windows 
and find the directory  named DOSUTILS 
in there is a bat file named   autoboot.bat 
it is simple 
oh yea  dont have your  installation files  way up in the end of a huge
subdirectory tree 
mine looks like this  
d:\mandrake\
and all the files are right in that folder
c:\mandrake\dosutils\autoboot.bat 
it will start everything  from there

Drive racks are great things 1 drive  for each operating system
