an SMP kernel, obviously. :-) They are marked as
"kernel-xxxx-smp.mdk.i586.rpm" or something similar. It's
pretty obvious which RPMs are smp kernels already.
Also, ANY kernel you hand-compile is capable of SMP. It's
one of the config options which come up during the
config/menuconfig/xconfig
