You can go to
/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/defconfig.............and print it
out.
Or right after installation of the new kernel you can, from
/usr/src/linux
make xconfig; and save configuration as file which you can
name as you wish
which will be located in /usr/src/linux, then exit without
saving.
