Hi,
I have a domain that is hosted with a webhost in
the USA. At DomaiNZ (The New Zealand version of InterNIC)
the nameservers are both set to the webhost in the
USA.
Now I would like to setup a dns server on the home
network using the same domainname - I know..I would not need
a DNS server for just 3 computers and would get a
long with a host file, but I'd like to learn a bit more :-)
If I setup the DNS server, does that interfere in
any way with the active domain?!
And what to I have to take care of that the
settings I make on the local DNS server stay only on the local
network?
thanks
Mike
