Hello, its me again! I need an MP3 player for Linux, be it XWindows or shell. X11Amp plays an mp3 for about 4 seconds, and then they're slow and jerky. Possibly there is a way to make the buffer really super huge, but I haven't found one. In Windows, I was able to play MP3s by using a program called SCMPX and decreasing the quality to 22 khz. The mp3s played reasonably, although I couldn't run much else without it "skipping". My computer is 66 mhz. Dan Rasmussen
