I'm assuming that your machine is coming up in runlevel 5 graphical mode and you cannot
see it due to your wrong choice??
Ok. Boot Linux again.
when you see lilo:
type " linux 3 " with out the quotes. And don't take all day. you only have a few
seconds.
This will boot you into linux without X.
Login as root, then do Xconfigurator.
This will allow you to choice the right video setting.
Then reboot.
