Marty....it sounds like you've got a core dump file in your aAutostart
directory. The Autostart directory is usually on your Desktop along the
left side of the screen near the top. Click on it, and the file "core"
should show up in the window. Either delete it, drag it to the trashcan
or move it elsewhere. Hope this helps.
