Check the date stamps and see how long you're telling Netscape to retain
documents. So far I've received the following date stamps on e-mails, and it
may effect newsgroups too:
1900, 0100, 19100, 1936, 2036, and 2099
If you have an e-mail program/ newsreader set to auotarchive or remove
documents past a certain date, messages with four of the above date stamps
will go away.
Can you say Y2K?

Hi everybody,
I'm experiencing a strange problem with Netscape 4.61. After I subscribe
to some selected newsgroups, retrieve messages and read some. Everything
seems to work OK. But, after I shut down the machine and bring it back
up, all of my newsgroups are GONE! Does anyone have any idea what's
going on here?
