I use several 69x series printers, at home and work. They set up effortlessly, and work damn near flawlessly with all applications (SO 5.x, WordPerfect 8.0, Netscape, Gimp, Kview, etc....) I'm not sure about the 8xx series however. I believe the 890s work, but have no idea about the others.
