Hello again, Well, i tried the instructions from linuxnewbie.org and the ones in the readme file that came in the package, but I keep getting the error: make: *** No rule to make target '(whatever)'. Stop. Seems like I'm missing something simple, but I'm new enough that I don't know what. Oh, there was also a nice shell script to install the module, but it doesn't work, saying my kernel is too new (well, not the one it expected). Maybe the file I found is too old? As I said opensource.creative.com is down as far as I can tell. The archive I got was emu10k1-0.3b and it had emu10k1.o-2.2.10, emu10k1.o-20.36, and emu10k1.o-22.5-15 in it along with the readme and shell scripts. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks, Craig Mark Fitzgerald wrote: > SBLive .. > > To get the Sound Blaster Live working, you need the linux drivers. > > There is instructions on how to do it at these sites. > http://www.linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/soundcards/sblive.html > http://www.euronet.nl/~mailme/ > > Get the most current driver here: > ftp://opensource.creative.com > > I have my sblive working nicly with Mandrake 6.1, as do many others. > > gl & hth > > Mark > -- > > On Thu, 13 Jan 2000, you wrote: > > I'm a newbie with linux operating system.
