[newbie] Need Help

Hi!

I�ve got all linux-mandrake files (downloaded from the
FTP server)...but I dont know how to install linux on
my pc...I�m afraid I�d make a biggg mess..I dont know
much about computers...thats why I use windows...but
Im tired of it and I want to test linux...
Could you help me please??...Im not sure what to do
next...is it possible to keep my windows and use at
the same time linux?
I really need help on this matter.

P.S: Are the RMPS� files necessary?
