I can't seem to get my CD player to play music. I
know that my sound card works because I can hear
the sample sounds when I configued by AWE32 sound card with
sndconfig, but when I slip in a CD and try to use
the CD Player in KDE, I can't get any sound. The
Player recognizes the CD and shows the corrent times
for songs, but still no sound. I have tried the obvious -
like cranking on the volume controls on the Player
and the Sound Mixer, and still silence. Any and
all help would be appreciate. I don't like singing
to myself.
