Hi - to questions, having finally got Mandrake 7.0 up and running
(beautifully!)
1. Setting up Kppp - I've followed the instructions carefully but each
time I try to dial up with Kppp I get a "pppd died suddenly" message.
The log says
"localhost pppd[1821]: the remote host is required to authenticate
itself but I couldn't find a secret (password)which would let it use an
IP address"
Can anyone suggest a cure?
2. How do I putna new icon on the desktop - not replace a current model
but a new icon for a new programme. Can't find this in the docs -
maybe it's too obvious?
