Dear Sir,
This is the first time I install Linux, my computer
configuration includes CPU processor AMD-K7-500Mhz and 64M
Ram. Moreover, I have installed Win98 on my computer and therefore I
install Linux on a new partition. I allocate 1.5G for root partition,
353M for home partition and 3x133M for swap partition. The installation
process of Linux is smooth, but my computer still fail to boot to the
Linux.
The computer hangs up to the following messages :
Memory : 63176K / 65471 available (956k kernel,
480k reserved , 884k data, 48k internal )
Stack : C010600...........
Call-trace : [<C010600>] .............
Code : 0f 32 89 c7 89 d5 83 7c 24 14 06 75 02 89 ef 8b 44 24
18 89
Moreover, what network card and video card option should I
choose if I use the SpeedStream 3010 PPP and video card is Matrox
Millennium G400
Please reply as soon as possible.
Thanks for your kind attention.
Regards
