I got a K6-2 350 running @400MHz. I got absolutely no problems with Win95 or
Linux. But if there's something wrong with the higher clock speed and that
error, then you don't have to get it back to the shop. Just look at your
motherboard manual and set the jumpers so that the CPU runs at the intended
400MHz. If you have no manual for your board, write down the number that
appears in the botton of the screen at startup and go to www.ping.be/bios and
look for the homepage of the board manufacturer. You should find a manual
there. I also have another overclocked computer running Linux and it has no
problems either.
