O.K.
I do understand where Vincent is coming from. Having been an consultant back
in the DOS days, I can remember allot of people who were learning to get
things done (More than just running a simple program or two).

I myself gave up on Microsoft when Win 95 came out, and I have been looking
for something different for along time. This is where Linux came in. I
really enjoy Linux and I have gotten hold of a few distributions. Mandrake
7.0 is by far the easiest so far. But remember I have a better
understanding of hardware than your average person.

Linux does have a way to go for the average desktop user. But from following
it over the last year, I have seen great strides in that direction.

Vincent don't give up so soon. It will all come together, and be much more
user guiding as they get all of it worked out.

As for Tech Support, if you bought the Mandrake 6.1 Deluxe it comes with
free telephone support.

Also I have to say this to a few others. Remember this is for newbies and
taking a hard stance for one or the other, you are inviting a negative
response.
