[newbie] Mandrake 7.0-2 ... Is it really Kernel 2.2.14-15mdk?

I tried installing OSS (the paid version) won't install and it's telling me that my Kernel is 2.2.14-1mdk.  Is Mandrake 7.0-2  using a different kernel from what it's claiming?   Seve
