Shitty X configuration. 

1) LILO: linux single

2) set initial runlevel to 3  (/etc/inittab)

3) telinit 3

4) set up X again

5) test with startx

6) set initial runlevel to 5  (/etc/inittab)

7) reboot

8) have fun
