Thanks for the replies, guys. After sending, I realized I should have
been much more specific. I did run LILO after making the change, and it did
it's thing with no problem. I first tried making the append= line the 4th
down (after boot=, map=, and install=). This didn't work, so I moved it to
the first line. Also didn't work.
I just rebooted and manually entered the 'linux mem=224' (decided to
try subtracting the 32M that my geForce card *should* have on it's own
card, but ya never know), and it worked. So my guess is that I'm placing
the append= line in the wrong place. Can anyone tell me exactly where it
should be in lilo.conf for it to do it automatically? Thanks again.
