Hi,
I have Linux Kernal 2.2.13.
I would like to upgrade this to the latest version
that supports USB, and SB Live!
I also have a USB camera and scanner that I'd like
to use.
How do I do this? Do I upgrade my Kernal level by
level (i.e. download and install the
2.2.13 patch first, followed by the 2.2.14 patches
and so on), or can I download the
latest Kernal and go straight to that.
Also, I only have a winmodem, so can I download
these files to windows and then
from Linux copy them over for installation ? I
intend to purchase an external modem
but not right now.
I currently have Linux-Mandrake 6.1 (Red Hat Linux
with enhancements).
Thanks,
Michael
