   Are you sure they go off the screen and don't just finish at the bottom 
of the screen.  My list finishes with Kedit, (or I thought it did).
   You can always change the directory in command line mode after it
has been installed by entering that directory (/opt in this case) and 
typing the mv <filename> <destination> command at the
prompt.
