Lol...I agree on the mentality of retail store help but this will not
resolve the issue that I do in fact want
to install the Mandrake Linux OS. I have tickets in at Mandrake for support
so I guess I will see what

One thing I have found to be nice about Best Buy is that their salespeople
aren't too bright! If you take it back and tell them that you made a
mistake
and the software is incompatible with your system, they will most likely
give you a refund. They have no idea what your system is, and if they ask
just tell them that it is a 486 dx66  8)~
