Any error messages or just a straight "nothing is happening - no activity"
type of hang?
Always at the same position in the install?
Is it possible to install 7.0 directly over 6, rather than try to update
the installation?

When updating my old 6.0 to 7.0, the system hang when trying to install
gnu C library.
Any idea ?
