RE: [newbie] Login Woes. :(

I realise that Linux is case sensitive and I haven't forgot the password or typed it 
in wrong. I don't even get that far.

The login screen let's me type usernames.

But when I type in root it doesn't accept it.
When I type in anything it doesn't accept it.

Are these the only partitions you have to create for a successful install or do I need 
more:
