Thanks for your answer. Usually I'm using ssh to start remote X
applications.

But what I would like to do is telling the computer to login into the
other (remote) computer right at the login screen. I would like to
work on the KDE Desktop as I would sit in front of the remote
computer.

Sun Solaris has this feature. Can I do this with Linux as well?
