The hot news is that WordPerfect Office 2000 is now shipping (at least to distributors) and can be ordered. I've been using WP8/Linux, and I ordered my WP Office 2000/Linux yesterday from TigerDirect for about $100. It includes the wp, spreadsheet, and presentation software. > I hear their distro of linux is good too but haven't tried it. Well, it's a mixed bag. It can get you up and running about as good as Mandrake. However, they did a lot of nonstandard things with it, so that when you start to customize, the usual sources of information will be inadequate. There is a good newsgroup, however. I switched from Corel to Mandrake because of the nonstandard stuff. -- Lane ____ Lane Lester / Madison County, Georgia USA Using Linux to get where I want to go...
