Again assuming you're using KDE
Tag the big K on the lower left of your screen. You'll find a sub
heading of Internet and kppp will be located in there.
there are a lot of choices when editing / adding a new account but it's
fairly safe to accept the defaults given unless specifically told to do
so by your ISP. All you should need to do is enter the phone number
you're goning to dial, enter the afore mentioned DNS IP numbers, and
tell kppp where to find your modem. Just in case you're not aware
com1 = ttyS0
com2 = ttyS1
etc.
under kppp / edit is an area to select the modem port, query the modem
and set the port speed.
