I was
trying to install Red hat 6.1 on a AMD 366 with 64 megs of ram over the
weekend.
Everything went well until the installation was
finished then the machine forze up while "Updating
Configuration".
When I
re-booted the machine I went straight to windows98 and never saw any Linux boot
up at all.
I then
realized I am a moron and forgot to set a boot partition.
I had
used partition magic to set the partition so then I went back in using patition
magic to free up space for a re-install.
Problem is now that when I go through the install
steps, when I get to the part where the install should start, I flash to a DOS
window...see some security warning...and then a re-boot
occurs.
Can
anyone please help me with this problem?
Thanks,
Phil
