[newbie] Wordperfect 8, and WINE

I have Wordperfect 8, but am stumped as to how I am supposed to install it.
It's on a cd, and apparently comes in two files, guil00.gz and guil01.gz (I
think - can't quite remember). I can browse into each of these files with
the KDE file explorer, but each one contains a lot of meaningless gubbins
(meaningless to me at least).

Can anyone tell me what I'm supposed to do?

Also, is there a list of software that works with WINE?
