Hi All, I had a problem with my CD-ROM access using Mandrake 7.0. I
received some sage advice from many of you out there. They did not seem to
work. I was obviously doing something wrong. I am sure I am not familiar
with Linux is the major problem..
I reformatted the HD and reinstalled Red Hat 6.1. All of my Mandrake
problems disappeared. CD works, etc.
I will continue to use Red Hat. I like many of the Mandrake features. I
will try to use rpm and install features of Mandrake I like.
