Have you an IDE or SCSI HD?
Is it 1st Drive or 2nd, 3rd, or 4th?
What partition did you install to?
/dev/hda <--- 1st IDE drive
/dev/hdb <--- 2nd IDE drive
/dev/sda <--- 1st SCSI drive
/dev/sdb <--- 2nd SCSI drive
etc.
1st partition on first IDE drive /dev/hda1
2nd partition on 3rd SCSI drive /dev/sdc2
etc.
Starting to sound like it would be easier for you to reinstall. If you do,
look for packages
lame
sag
nag
and install them. Documentation of a first rate nature... Once installed
you will find them in
/usr/dos/LDP
Read 'em! Many things will become clearer.
