About twenty times more dangerous than it is in Windows. Sometimes data
sits in the IO buffer for sometime before the buffer is flushed and the
data written to disk.
In the event of a forced reboot, that data can be lost.
I've mangled a filesystem already once, requiring a format of the
partition.
