Dear Necrotica; Just jumped into this thread (haven't seen previous posts to this topic), but just a quick thing here,...Wouldn't StarOffice do the trick?? It's available for Windows and Linux, and handles all MS Office documents, spreadsheets, etc. Just a thought.
