Nope, wasn't answered yet, so I appreciate the response. I'm still a bit
confused though.

When you say "filesystems" do you mean partitions ? Or is it something else
?

In the past with a dual-boot system, I installed lilo to the mbr, so that is
what I would do here. So, would I still need , say, two  /boot partitions if
I was installing 2 distros ? But, those partitions would not necessarily
need to be within the 1024 boundry ? For example, if I set this up as win98
having the first 10gb, mandrakeprime install next 15 gb and mandrake test
install in the last 15 gb, could the /boot partitions for each linux install
be placed at the (approx) 11gb and 16 gb sections of disk ? Hope these
questions make some sense.
