Hi there, I have decided to join the wonderful world of Linux, and reckoned that my old P166 (24 MBs of RAM, 2x 1 Gb hardisk) would be the ideal test bed. Once getting past the first hiccup of the autoboot btch file bing wrong :-), and another patch about a large FAT, I have found a bug or something that I haven't seen anything written about. Anyway, when DrakX tries to install 'shadown-utils' it freezes dead. Nothing moves - mouse, cursor and the capslock key/num lock does not affect the little LED on the keyboard. Has anyone experienced this, fixed it, or even heard about it, and can tell me where to go next? I am a complete newbie to Linux (I know my way around Windows/DOS (not a great thing to be proud of :-)), and would appreciate any help anyone is willing to give me!
